Questions Tower Hamlets Council in East London must answer on Crossrail hole promotion
The question that we all in the East End need to ask of ‘our’Tower Hamlets Council is: does Tower Hamlets council care about the health of the people in the borough?
If it does then how is it that most of its promotions are for things that appear to bring cheap and short-term publicity for the 'Council' and certain 'selected' councillors and long term hazard for the community?"
A very vocal demonstration against the Council’s wrong backing for the Crossrail hole plan was held on Thursday 22 September 2005 outside the Brady Centre in Hanbury Street.
A very good number of factual points for the protection and improvement of the quality of the community by the Tower Hamlets Council were made by the demonstrators.
